Where's the Dil?

Refined Dilithium is the most important currency in the game. It is required for everything from crafting to buying top of the line gear. It is also one of the hardest to accumulate in the game since we are limited to refining 8K per day plus an extra 500 from a DOFF mission if your fleet has a T3 Mine. Dilithium ore is easier to get but is still a grind. Here are some ways to earn unrefined dilithium ore:

Foundry Spotlight Mission (found under the foundry tab on the hail starfleet screen): 480+. The amount of dil you receive varies by the mission and time you take  to complete it. You also get a bonus of 1440 for the 1st spotlight mission

Investigate Officer Reports (found under the Available missions on the hail starfleet screen: 960. You must run this at the same time as a foundry spotlight mission or other foundry mission that qualifies for rewards. It will tell you at the
                                                                                                                                                  bottom of the mission description if it qualifies.

Academy Lore Daily (found at the library at starfleet or Klingon Academies): 480. Talk to Cmdr. Viala at Starfeet Acamey or Loresinger Ch'toh at the Klingon Academy.  The answers are contained on the data chips you get and found under

Daily Dilithium Mining (found at the asteroid and fleet mines in the Alpha Quadrant): 2000+. The first daily mining mission is at the Vlugta Asteroid mine (all mining missions require an EV suit) or in the available tab of the hail starfleet
                                                                                                                                      screen. Either way you accept the mission you still have to go to the asteroid to do the mission. The second mining mission is at the fleet mine and will
                                                                                                                                     give you anywhere from 1000-2480 depending on the level of your fleet mine.
